Hey, I’m Yolanda
I’m the founder of The Best Friends Collective. This space was created from real life, real experiences, and a real need for connection. I know what it feels like to need support, to go through things silently, and to wish there was a space where you could just be understood. This isn’t just something I started—it’s something I believe in deeply. I created this so no woman has to feel like she’s going through life alone.

An Angel’s Story 💛
This didn’t just come from an idea—
it came from love.
My friend Missy had a way of showing up for people that stayed with me.
The kind of presence that made you feel seen, supported, and not alone.
That spirit lives on in everything we’re building—
in how we connect,
how we support one another,
and the spaces we’re creating together.
This is legacy. She planted something in us all, and love like hers never really leaves us.💛
Mission
Rooted in sisterhood, we are a collective of resilient women who inspire, support, and uplift one another—turning shared strength into a lasting legacy.
Vision
We envision a community where women are connected, supported, and equipped to grow—individually and collectively—creating stronger families, deeper relationships, and lasting impact.
Approach
Our approach is rooted in care, connection, and real support. We meet women where they are and grow together through shared experiences, practical resources, and intentional community-building.
Impact
Our impact is measured by the lives we touch, the support we provide, and the community we build. Through our programs and initiatives, we create spaces where women feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
Because when women come together, something beautiful always grows.
Current Initiative
Meet Mia
Mia Hurd, founder of SlimmsKitchen, is a food enthusiast, aspiring food scientist, and entrepreneur rooted in community. What began as a simple desire to garden quickly evolved into a journey of healing, discipline, and personal growth.
Through cultivating the land, Mia discovered that food is more than nourishment—it is a powerful tool for connection, education, and empowerment. Her mission is to help underserved communities gain access to fresh, healthy food while also teaching others how to grow and sustain it for themselves—creating lasting impact, one seed at a time.
Donations will help provide essential materials such as soil, compost, seeds, and tools—ensuring the garden continues to serve as a space for learning, nourishment, and community growth.
